Vernon Carey's house Southwest Ranches, Florida becomes The Rock's house

Born in Miami, Florida, NFL offensive tackle Vernon Carey played college football for his hometown Miami Hurricanes and since 2004 has played professionally for his hometown Miami Dolphins.
Vernon Carey has resided in the Fort Lauderdale area since joining the Dolphins. In 2009 Vernon Carey purchased a home in the Landmark Ranch Estates community in the town of Southwest Ranches. Vernon Carey paid $3.7 million for the newly-built grand European style estate built on 2.33 acres which offers six bedrooms, six bathrooms, gym, game room, library, wetbar, swimming pool and spa, guest suite, and has 10,062 square feet.
TMZ is reporting that Vernon Carey has sold the home to action film star Dwayne Johnson, better known as The Rock for $3.45 million.

Vernon Carey had lived in the town of Davie before purchasing the home in Southwest Ranches. Carey purchased his Davie home in August 2006 for $1,883,700 and recently had it on the market with an asking price of $1.4 million, however the home did not sell and he pulled it off the market.
