Cartoonist Garry Trudeau and his wife, television journalist Jane Pauley have a great place to go to get away from it all. In early 1981, the Doonesbury comic strip creator purchased a home near the small town of Branford, Connecticut. The island home consists of the main home which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a separate one bedroom, one bathroom bungalow.

The island where the home is located consists of 14 homes, the oldest of which was built in 1880.
