Estelle Getty was born on Wednesday, July 25, 1923 in New York City. Estelle Getty was best known for her role as Sophia Petrillo in the 1980s sitcom The Golden Girls. In May of 2000 at the age of 76, Estelle Getty revealed she had Parkinson's disease. By 2003, doctors determined that she actually had Lewy body dementia.
One year after first revealing her medical condition, Estelle Getty purchased a condo at 7560 Hollywood Blvd., for $320,000. Estelle would live in the condo until her death on July 22, 2008.
The 1,825 square foot unit includes two bedrooms, one full bathroom, 3/4 bathroom, 1/2 bathroom, and a balcony.
