Major league baseball first baseman Carlos Pena (not to be confused with Carlos Pena jr. of Big Time Rush click here for his home profile page) really elevated his game in 2009. As a member of the Tampa Bay Rays, Pena tied for the lead in the American League for home runs at 39, and did this despite not playing the last few weeks of the season due to injury. In December of the same year Carlos Pena purchased a newly-constructed home in Windermere, Florida. Located on Lake Tibet in the Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe community, Carlos Pena paid $3.5 million for the home which has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two half, swimming pool, and a three-car garage.

While with the Tampa Bay Rays, Carlos Pena was selected to the 2009 All-Star Game and won the Gold Glove Award in 2008.
