Theater Camp Summary

Theater Camp is a new original comedy starring Tony Award winner Ben Platt and Molly Gordon. They play the roles of Amos and Rebecca-Diane, who are forever best friends and drama instructors at a rundown camp in upstate New York. When a clueless tech-bro named Troy, played by Jimmy Tatro, arrives to manage the property, it becomes clear he is running it into the ground. In order to save their beloved summer camp, Amos, Rebecca-Diane and production manager Glenn (played by Noah Galvin) team up with the staff and students to stage a masterpiece production. Through their efforts, they hope to keep the camp afloat and preserve its legacy.

Directed by Molly Gordon and Nick Lieberman, with a screenplay by Molly Gordon, Nick Lieberman, Ben Platt, and Noah Galvin.

Ben Platt has shared a message to Instagram that includes the Theater Camp official trailer.

Ben Platt will next star in the musical film Merrily We Roll Along about a talented Broadway composer named Franklin Shepard who abandons everything to become a Hollywood producer. The film also stars Beanie Feldstein and Blake Jenner. A release date is not yet available.

Molly Gordon will join the Hulu television comedy series The Bear for season 2 as a series regular. Season 2 will premiere on June 22, 2023.
