In the upcoming TV series, join blockbuster actor Robert Downey Jr. and his team of skilled experts as they embark on an extraordinary journey to breathe new life into six timeless classic cars from Robert's personal collection. However, this is no ordinary restoration project—these vehicles will undergo a transformation to become environmentally friendly, bringing them seamlessly into the new millennium while retaining their iconic power and style.

Max has released the official preview video for Downey's Dream Cars.

Next up, Robert will work as an executive producer on a new miniseries called The Sympathizer coming to HBO and HBO Max in 2024. The series is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Vietnamese-American professor and novelist Viet Thanh Nguyen. The series follows the story of the Captain, a North Vietnamese spy planted in the South Vietnamese army. As the Vietnam War draws to a close, he is forced to flee to the United States with his general. Living among a community of South Vietnamese refugees, he continues to secretly report back to the Viet Cong while grappling with conflicting loyalties to his homeland and his new life.
