Summary

In Lawrenceton, Aurora Teagarden (Skyler Samuels) navigates life after college. While her mother, Aida (Marilu Henner), strives to establish her real estate business, Aurora works as a teacher's assistant in a crime fiction class and waits tables at a local diner. With her friend Sally and police officer Arthur (Evan Roderick), Aurora delves into her passion for researching true crime. When Sally's fiancé goes missing on their wedding rehearsal day, Aurora enlists Arthur's help to find him. Their search takes a chilling turn when they stumble upon a body, leading to a shocking revelation: Sally's fiancé becomes the prime suspect, unraveling a complex web of deceit.

The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries is a franchise based on the Aurora Teagarden books by Charlaine Harris and follow Aurora Teagarden, who resides in the fictional town of Lawrenceton.

Aurora and her friends are part of a group of true crime enthusiasts called the Real Murders Club, who delve into true crime mysteries. There are 18 Aurora Teagarden Mystery movies, including the most recent Haunted By Murder, which aired in February 2022 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
