How Did Toosii Become Famous?

Toosii became famous in 2019 after his song “Red Lights” went viral on TikTok, introducing him to a larger audience. He then released two mixtapes, “Who Dat?” in 2019 and “Platinum Heart” in 2020, which were both well received. In 2020, he released his first studio album, “Poetic Pain,” which reached number 17 on the Billboard 200 chart and included the popular songs “Love Cycle” and “Favorite Song.” The album was praised for Toosii’s songwriting and vulnerability.

Toosii released "Favorite Song" in February of 2023. Currently #6 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song is the lead single from his second studio album Naujour. The song is posted below.
