Morgan Wallen first gained recognition as a contestant on season 6 of NBC's talent show The Voice in 2014. He performed Howie Day's song "Collide" during his audition, which caught the attention of celebrity judges Shakira and Usher. Although he was eliminated, Wallen's performance on The Voice helped to launch his music career. After his stint on The Voice, Wallen signed with Big Loud Records and released his debut single "The Way I Talk" in 2016. The song reached number 30 on the US Country Airplay chart. Wallen's follow-up singles "Up Down" (featuring Florida Georgia Line) was even more successful, reaching number one Country Airplay chart.

Morgan Wallen's “Last Night” was released as the third single from his 2023 album “One Thing at a Time."
