How Did Kali Uchis Become Famous?

Kali Uchis released her debut mixtape Drunken Babble which was critically acclaimed and helped her reach wider audience. She followed up with the successful EP Por Vida in 2015. Uchis’s breakthrough came in 2018 with her debut studio album Isolation, which was both a critical and commercial success, selling 500,000 copies, making it certified Gold.

“See You Again” is a love song by Tyler, The Creator featuring Kali Uchis, released as the fourth single from his fourth studio album Flower Boy in 2017. Fun fact: the song was originally written for pop singer Zayn Malik, but he turned down the opportunity, so Tyler recorded it himself.
