The-Dream (Terius Nash) moved with his mother to Atlanta, Georgia from North Carolina at a very young age. The-Dream has produced and/or recorded vocals for the who's who of the music industry, including: Britney Spears, Rihanna, J. Holiday, Usher, LL Cool J, Jesse McCartney, Mariah Carey, Ciara, and Mary J. Blige.

In May of 2008 The-Dream purchased a newly constructed home in the Castlewood Estates community of Atlanta for $1,010,000. The-Dream's home offers five bedrooms, five bathrooms, gym, library, media room, indoor grill, and a whirlpool tub located in the master bathroom.

In 2007 The-Dream released his debut album Love Hate (Love Me All Summer, Hate Me All Winter). This was followed by Love vs. Money in 2009, Love King in 2010, Terius Nash: 1977 in 2012, and IV Play in 2013. The-Dream was reportedly working on three studio albums in 2015, titled Crown Jewel, Godz of Analog, and Morphine.
