Texas-born Kendrick Perkins formerly the NBA's Boston Celtics joined the league in 2003 where he played for the Celtics for the majority of his career.

In July of 2008, he purchased an $850,000 Mediterranean-style home in Tomball, Texas, which he still owns. Built in 1999 and located in the Haven Lake Estates subdivision, the two-story home offers five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half, swimming pool, three-car garage, pool room, bar, and 5,616 square feet.
