The Swimmers Overview
Netflix's new movie The Swimmers tells the true story of the young Mardini sisters, Yusra and Sara, who desperately fled from Syria's civil war as refugess. At one point during their journey, the swimming sisters along with two other swimmers overcame all odds and pushed and pulled a dinghy of refugees across the Aegean Sea.
Directed by Sally El Hosaini; written by Sally El Hosaini and Jack Thorne.
