How Did Tori Kelly Become Famous?

Tori Kelly appeared on the ninth season of American Idol in 2010 and since has gained fame through her powerful voice and soulful performances. She gained further attention in 2012 after posting videos of her singing on YouTube, which led to a recording contract and the release of her debut studio album, "Unbreakable Smile" in 2015. In 2016 she was nominated for Best New Artist at the 58th Grammy Awards, and voiced Meena in the animated film Sing.
