How Did George Birge Become Famous?

George Birge and Cody Cooper formed the duo Waterloo Revival in Austin, Texas in 2013. After Waterloo Revival broke up in 2021, Birge began writing songs independently. His songs were recorded by artists like Matt Stell, Chris Lane, Gary LeVox, and Clay Walker. His song "Beer Beer, Truck Truck" became popular on TikTok, leading to his signing with the indie label Records Nashville. In 2022 George Birge released the single “Mind on You” which peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in December 2023.
