How Did Dasha Become Famous?

Anna Dasha Novotny, known by her performing name Dasha, was born on February 27, 2000, in San Luis Obispo, California. Dasha's musical journey gained momentum with the release of her single "Don't Mean a Thing" under Famouz Records in April 2021. Subsequently, she inked a deal with Quadio Records, a branch of Disruptor Records, later that year. Over 2021 and 2022, Dasha unveiled a series of singles, laying the groundwork for her debut album "Dirty Blonde," which dropped in 2023. Among these tracks is the popular "Austin," which is featured on her 2024 EP "What Happens Now?," "Austin" has found immense success by marking Dasha's first-ever charting single, making it to number 32 on the US Billboard Hot 100 by April 2024, "Austin" embodies a spirited vibe driven by handclaps, a rustic fiddle, and a lively rhythm tailor-made for line dancing.
