Former Denver Broncos Quarterback John Elway is widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, and with good reason. Known for his last-minute, game-winning scoring drives, the Denver Broncos with Elway at the helm made a total of five Super Bowl appearances winning the big prize twice in back-to-back fashion in 1998 and 1999 (Super Bowl XXXII and XXXIII).

Before his phenomenal pro football career, Elway was actually an All-American in baseball at Stanford and also played baseball for the New York Yankees' Oneonta (New York) single-A farm club in 1982.

Elway was the #1 overall pick in the quarterback draft of 1983 and joined the Broncos on May 2 by trade with Baltimore. Elway was voted NFL MVP in 1987 and has also been to the Pro Bowl four times.

John currently resides in the community of Cherry Hills Farm in Englewood, Colorado (population 31,727).

Retired?

John Elway might be officially retired from playing professional football but he currently retains the position of Director of Pro Scouting with the Broncos and also owns seven car dealerships in the Denver area.
