Financial advisor Suze Orman was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 5, 1951. Orman has authored several books on managing personal finances, and hosts The Suze Orman Show on CNBC.
In an interview given to The New York Times in February of 2007, Suze Orman revealed she was gay, and had been in a long-term relationship with Kathy Travis - a co-producer of The Suze Orman Show. Soon after her self-titled show had become a proven success, Orman set her sights on a luxury condo near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Orman paid just under $1 million for her Ocean Grande Beach condo in early 2004.

Suze Orman and Kathy Travis also have a home in San Francisco, California, which Kathy purchased in 1996 for $700,000. The home has three bedrooms, one bathroom and 1,844 square feet. Built in 1927, the home has a current value of approximately $2.4 million.
