With the support and guidance of her parents, Joe and Tina, Jessica Simpson made her way from northeast Texas to sunny California to pursue a career in music. This pursuit would also lead to a walk down the isle with Nick Lachey from the group 98 Degrees, in October of 2002.Jessica and Nick would soon settle into a $3 million home in Calabasas, California. MTV documented their day-to-day life in the very popular realty tv series entitled Newlyweds. The show aired from August 2003 until January 2005.
In November of 2005 the couple announced that their three-year marriage would be ending. A few weeks after the announcement, Jessica had found her new dream home in Beverly Hills, California.
The pop princess paid $5.3 million for a five bedroom, seven bathroom, two-story home in the infamous 90210 zip code. Although slightly smaller than the Calabasas crib, the home still offers a very spacious 5,500 square feet.
Interestingly, the home was also once owned by Ellen DeGeneres.
