NASCAR legend Rusty Wallace retired from racing in 2005 and since 2006 has been a broadcaster of NASCAR races on ESPN. Born in Fenton, Missouri Rusty Wallace along with his wife and three children now reside in the town of Cornelius, North Carolina which is a suburb of Charlotte. In September 2010 Rusty paid $2,750,000 for this 6,474 square-foot waterfront home with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, heated pool, spa with a waterfall, and a beach with a fire pit.

Rusty Wallace and his wife Patti have lived part-time on Florida's Space Coast since the 1980s. In January 2023, the couple purchased a 4,343 square foot custom waterfront estate on 1.3 acres in Ormond Beach for $2.2 million.
The home is located in the Toscana subdivision, surrounded by scenic nature and close to downtown and Tomoka State Park. The house has high-end finishes throughout, with 4 bedroom suites, each with custom closets and baths. The owner's suite has expansive pool-to-water views, 2 walk-in closets, and a wet bar. The mother-in-law suite has its own entrance and private courtyard.
The gourmet kitchen features 2 large quartz islands, a large bay window, and GE Monogram appliances. The house also has a full home generator, high-impact windows, foam insulation, and a saltwater heated pool with a custom screen enclosure.
Rusty Wallace has 55 NASCAR Cup wins, which has him tied for 8th on NASCAR's all-time wins list.
