Three-term Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has generated intense media coverage since throwing her hat into the 2012 presidential ring in June 2011. Born in Waterloo, Iowa, Bachmann moved to Minnesota with her family as a young teen and since 1978 has been married to clinical therapist Marcus Bachmann. In 1992 while Michele Bachmann was working as an attorney for the IRS, the couple purchased a five bedroom, three bath home in Stillwater, Minnesota and would spend the next sixteen years of their life there. In September 2008 the Bachmanns purchased a new home in Stillwater for $760,000. Built in 2005 on just under three acres, the home includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a deck/patio and has 5,194 square feet.
