Carrie Underwood was born March 10, 1983 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Carrie Underwood won the talent competition American Idol season 4 in 2005, and is signed to the record label Arista Records Nashville. Her debut album, "Some Hearts", was released in November of 2005.

In the Fall of 2006, Carrie Underwood released the single "Before He Cheats", which would go on to hit #1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs. In early April 2007, Carrie Underwood released "Wasted" which alo hit # 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart.

Just a few days later at the 2007 CMT Awards, Carrie Underwood won Video of the Year, Female Video of the Year, and Video Director of the Year, for "Before He Cheats." Also in April 2007, Carrie Underwood took a trip to South Africa for American Idol's charity special "Idol Gives Back."

Carrie Underwood's busy April 2007 continued when she purchased a home in Franklin, TN for for $1,353,000. Built in 2000, the two-story home offers five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one half bathroom, three-car garage, and over 5,600 square feet.

Carrie Underwood released her second album, "Carnival Ride" in October of 2007.
