Snoop Dogg is former NFL superstar Jaycen Jenning who agrees to coach a youth football team to avoid prison with the hopes he can restart his new chosen career.

The Underdoggs is a production of MGM Studios with a scheduled release date of October 20, 2023. Scenes in the movie will be shot in the Atlanta area but made to look like Long Beach, California. The movie will be directed by Charles Stone III. Snoop Dogg will also serve as a producer along with Kenya Barris.

Griffin, Georgia is a new confirmed filming location, with filming scheduled for October 28.
