A hearing-impaired police detective who also works as an interpreter for the department becomes involved in a difficult situation after discovering that a group of corrupt police officers are trying to get rid of a deaf witness to a murder case. Deadline reports that Sandra Mae Frank will play a recovering drug addict named Ava who is determined to turn her life around.
