The filming location for The Idea of You is Savannah, Georgia with the start of filming scheduled for Wednesday, October 19. Amazon Studios is producing the movie for its Prime Video streaming service.
Directed by Michael Showalter, the movie is about Sophie's husband Dan leaving her for a younger woman. Now he's cancelled his Coachella trip with their 15-year old daughter so Sophie braves the desert heat to get her there. At Coachella, Sophie meets Hayes Campbell, the 24-year-old lead singer of the boy band August Moon.
