In December, Variety reported that ABC had given a pilot order for the drama series, with Matt Lopez and John Glenn serving as both writers and executive producers.

The series will be about a team of trauma surgeons and nurses of the Hurt unit (Hospital Urgent Response Team) who bring emergency care to people who can't make it to the hospital.
