Surrounded Summary

Years after the Civil War, a freedwoman and former Buffalo Soldier named Moses "Mo" Washington travels west to claim a gold mine disguised as a man. After her stagecoach is ambushed by thieves, Mo must hold outlaw Tommy Walsh (Jamie Bell) captive while the other passengers seek help.

Before Surrounded, Letitia Wright reprised her role as Shuri / Black Panther in the 2022 blockbuster Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Shuri is the brilliant lead scientist and Princess of Wakanda. The sequel continues the story of the fictional African nation of Wakanda following the loss of its king, T'Challa, also known as Black Panther, portrayed by the late Chadwick Boseman.
