Snoop Dogg Looks to Start Your Day With Snoop Cereal and Snoop Loopz

Snoop Dogg is now aspiring to enter the realm of breakfast entrepreneurship. The world famous rapper and actor born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. has filed trademark applications for his own brand of breakfast cereals, he calls Snoop Cereal and Snoop Loopz.

Snoop Dogg's Cereal Trademarks

Snoop Dogg has hired the law firm Venable LLP to file the trademarks, with attorney Kristen Ruisi specifically handling the filings for Venable LLP. Kristen Ruisi works out of Venable LLP's New York-based location.

The application for the trademarks Snoop Cereal and Snoop Loopz describe its intended use as being for "breakfast cereals; high-protein cereal bars; cereal-based energy bars; cereal-based snack foods; biscuits, tarts, and cakes made with cereals".

An examining attorney at the trademark office will be assigned to review these trademarks and make a determination as to whether or not they can be registered. This can take several months.
