In February, Netflix announced a series order for a conspiracy thriller titled The Madness, to be produced by Chernin Entertainment.

The limited series will be about media pundit Muncie Daniels (Colman Domingo) who unexpectedly comes across a murder while in the remote Poconos woods. As the situation unfolds, Muncie is faced with defending his innocence and struggling to stay alive. With the pressure mounting, the pundit seeks to mend relationships with his family and rediscover the beliefs he may have strayed from, all in an effort to stay alive.
