Stolen by My Mother Plot

The true story about Gloria Williams, who abducted a newborn baby named Kamiyah Mobley from a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida in 1998. Gloria, who was struggling with the emotional aftermath of a recent miscarriage, posed as a nurse and took Kamiyah from her mother's arms before leaving the hospital undetected. Gloria renamed the baby Alexis and raised her as her own daughter, providing her with love and care. However, when Alexis applied for her first job, she was unable to provide a birth certificate or a social security card, which eventually led her to realize that she was abducted as a baby. Gloria was eventually arrested, and despite the fact that Alexis had learned the truth about her past and that her "mother" was her kidnapper, she kept the secret for as long as she could until an anonymous tip led to Gloria's arrest. The story highlights the emotional turmoil and impact on the lives of those involved in a case of abduction and deception.
