Girl in the Closet Plot
Girl In the Closet is based on a true story about a 10-year-old girl named Cameron. Cameron's mother had an aneurysm, and she was adopted by her Aunt Mia, who already had a family of her own. Shortly after arriving at her new home, Cameron started hearing strange ghostly voices coming from the locked door in the basement. As Cameron investigated, she discovered innocent victims chained to the wall, who were being exploited by her Aunt for their benefit checks. Cameron was eventually forced to live in the basement with them for the next decade, while the police believed she was missing.
