The filming for Genius Season 4 will be underway in the Atlanta area beginning in late October. The director is Channing Godfrey Peoples. The production companies for this film project are Imagine Television Studios, MWM Studios (formerly OddLot Entertainment), EUE/Sokolow, and 20th Television.

The series was created by Noah Pink. Season 1 of Genius covered the life of Albert Einstein, season 2 covered the life of artist Pablo Picasso, and season 3 covered the life of Aretha Franklin.

Kelvin Harrison Jr. recently wrapped up filming for his starring role as French-Caribbean musician Chevalier de Saint-Georges in the biographical film Chevalier, that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
