In September 2020, actor Rob McElhenney and actor Ryan Reynolds, announced their intention to buy the Welsh football club Wrexham A.F.C. The company, RR McReynolds, was formed to purchase the football club, which they did in February 2021. For this town, football is not a matter of life and death it's more important than that.
