Born May 27, 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia, Andre Benjamin, aka "Andre 3000" - along with Antwan Patton, aka "Big Boi" make up of the highly-successful rap duo known as Outkast. In 2003, Outkast released a double album entitled Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Andre's album "The Love Below" offered more singing vocals in contrast to Big Boi's more rap-centered Speakerboxxx. "The Love Below" was responsible for the hits "Hey Ya!" and "Roses".
