Born May 27, 1975 in Atlanta, Georgia, Andre Benjamin, aka "Andre 3000" - along with Antwan Patton, aka "Big Boi" make up of the highly-successful rap duo known as Outkast. In 2003, Outkast released a double album entitled Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Andre's album "The Love Below" offered more singing vocals in contrast to Big Boi's more rap-centered Speakerboxxx. "The Love Below" was responsible for the hits "Hey Ya!" and "Roses". Andre 3000 has also landed numerous acting roles in movies such as Families, The Shield, Be Cool, Revolver, Four Brothers, and Idlewild.

Andre 3000 still maintains a home in the city of his birth; Atlanta, plus a second home located in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Andre 3000 purchased his Atlanta home in 2002 for $775,000.
