Along with salmon's high protein content, this oily fish is high in healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Salmon is an excellent source of many important vitmains and minerals such as selenium, niacin, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, vitamin D, riboflavin, and phosphorus. And salmon is also good for brain power, so don't be surprised if adding salmon to your diet increases your mental abilities. It is important to know that in order to obtain the most nutrients from your salmon, only consume wild-caught salmon not farmed.

Brussel sprouts are grown along the coast of Central California, most often in San Mateo, Santa Cruz, and Monterey County. Brussels sprouts are high in vitamin C and vitamin K, and also B vitamins such as folate and vitamin B6.
