The town of Marathon is located on Key Vaca, which is one of the many islands that make up the Florida Keys. Vaca is the Spanish word for cow. It is believed that this key was originally named after the manatees, also referred to as sea cows, that live in abundance there. Click here for an aerial photo of Key Vaca.

In 2004, Robert and Jane divorced. Confrontations would lead to both being arrested only days apart. On one occasion, Jane reportedly assaulted Robert's girlfriend upon finding her with Robert at the couple's home in Marathon.

In late 2006 Jane and John divorced. Jane would soon walk down the isle again, this time with a Mr. Greg Shneck of Brooksville.
