Richard Rawlings is the star of the Discovery Channel's hit reality television show Fast N' Loud, based on his custom car building shop in Dallas known as Gas Monkey Garage. In June 2015, the Fort Worth, Texas-born entrepreneur purchased this 3,933 square-foot brick home for $1.7 million.

Built in 1960 on 1.46 acres in the Strong & Crossen subdivision, the home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms, and offers a Mad Men style bar with a retractable preacher's door, multiple decks, sunken bathtub, zen garden, outside master bath and a private lake. The home is only four miles from the Gas Monkey Garage.

In 2009, Richard Rawlings along with Gas Monkey Garage cast member Dennis Collins, won a transcontinental road rally known as Bullrun Rally. In 2013, Rawlings opened Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill restaurant in Northwest Dallas.
