Allen Iverson - Learn all about the place this NBA superstar calls home
NBA superstar Allen Iverson was born in Hampton, Virginia on June 7, 1975. Iverson was the first player picked in the 1996 NBA draft, by the Philadelphia 76ers and is regarded as one of the best guards in the game. Iverson has averaged an amazing 28 points per game in his career, which makes him only second to the great Michael Jordan in this category.
Despite his impressive all-around-play as a member of the 76ers, in December of 2006 Iverson made it clear that he wanted to be traded and was quickly picked up by the Denver Nuggets.
In late 2002, Iverson purchased a $5 million home in Villanova, Pennsylvania. This incredible home sits on over 3 acres of land and also includes a large swimming pool.
Villanova is located approximately 5 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
