Grant Hill started his professional basketball career in 1994 as a member of the Detroit Pistons. Hill became a member of the NBA's Orlando Magic in August 2000. Playing the position of small forward, Grant has established himself as one of the best all-around players of his era.

Despite a future which will reportedly have him wearing the jersey of the Phoenix Suns, Hill has made it very clear that he plans on keeping a permanent home in the Orlando area. In addition to his $5 million Isleworth home which he purchased in 2002, Hill paid nearly $13 million for a mansion in the same luxury community, in late July 2007. Hill purchased the home from Betsy Nagelsen-McCormick, a former tennis pro and wife of the late Mark McCormack. Isleworth is located in the town of Windermere, near Orlando.

The McCormacks had the home built in 1989. Mark McCormack was the founder and Chairman of International Management Group - an organization that handles the business affairs for professional athletes and celebrities. He and his wife Betsy Nagelsen-McCormack founded the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center at the College of William & Mary.

The home offers seven bathrooms, six full bathrooms, tennis court, swimming pool, library, and two guest suites. The home also offers a pool house and caretaker’s living quarters with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Construction records show this was built in 1998.

Grant Hill just so happens to be the next-door neighbor of another professional sports star - former Major League Baseball player Barry Larkin of the Cincinnati Reds.

Isleworth is also home to other sports celebrities, including Shaquille O'Neal, Tiger Woods, and Ken Griffey Jr.
