August 04, 2007

LOS ANGELES - Dogs belonging to "Mission: Impossible" star Ving Rhames apparently attacked a live-in caretaker who was found dead at Rhames' home, located in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.

Police got a call at 7:15 a.m. from someone reporting a dead body at the home. When police arrived, they encountered several large dogs running loose on the property. Animal control officers were contacted and took three bull mastiffs, and an English bulldog into custody.

Records indicate that Rhames purchased the Mediterranean-style home, valued at roughly $7 million, in August 2005 from Charles and Jill Butte.

The following are a series of photos of the home. Top left is an aerial photo of the home and property, the photo at top right is a front view of the home, below that is a photo of the entrance gate. The additional photos depict various views behind the home.
