Professional race car driver Ryan Hunter-Reay is the most successful American driver competing in open wheel competition. On July 6, 2008 Hunter-Reay scored his maiden IndyCar Series win in the Camping World Watkins Glen Grand Prix at Watkins Glen International. In August 2009 Ryan Hunter-Reay purchased a remodeled waterfront home in the Bermuda Riviera neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for $1 million. The 4,324-square-foot home has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, 80-foot dock, marble floors, swimming pool, and ocean access.
