Nasri Atweh is an accomplished singer, songwriter and performer born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Nasri began singing at the age of 6 and was signed to his first record deal with Universal Records in Canada at the age of 19. After a year on the label without an album out he asked to be released and moved to New York to pursue his dream with nothing more than his CD to his name. Nasri landed in Brooklyn where he slept on a couch and earned extra money as a dancer and singer where he could. He wrote dozens of songs with various collaborators over the next year and wound up winning the John Lennon Songwriting Competition in 2001. Although he never expected to write for other artists it was during the New York sessions that a track he wrote called "Click Click Click" got the attention of the reunited New Kids On The Block. NKOTB front-man Donnie Wahlberg called Nasri personally the day he heard it to ask if Nasri would be interested in writing more songs for their comeback record. Nasri flew to Los Angeles a week later to work on the record and never left. He wound up with 7 songs on the album including the top 20 single "Summertime."

Since then Nasri signed with Sony/ATV Music Publishing and has written for and worked with some of the biggest and best songwriters and artists in the world. Along with his writing and production partner Adam Messinger he has written for artists including Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, JoJo, Michael Bolton, Elliot Yamin, Lolene, Westlife, Boyzone, Alex Lambert, Kat Deluna, Vanessa Hudgins, Jaden Smith, Big Time Rush, The Cab, Cheryl Cole, Nickelodeon, No Angels, and lots more.

In 2013 Nasir released the hit song 'Rude' as a member of the Canadian reggae fusion band MAGIC! with fellow members Mark Pellizzer, Alex Tanas and Ben Spivak.
