Twelve-time MLB All-Star catcher Mike Piazza made his pro debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1992. Mike Piazza played for a total five teams in his sixteen-year career and retired from the game in 2008 with a .308 batting average, 1,335 runs batted in, and 427 home runs.

Just a few months before announcing his retirement in mid-2008, the Pennsylvania-born Piazza paid $10 million for a tropical getaway in Miami Beach, Florida. Mr. Piazza's 9,626 square foot waterfront Mediterranean estate offers eight bedrooms, nine full bathrooms and one half, three-car garage, media room, library, wet bar, swimming pool, cabana, and a boat dock.

Mike Piazza spent most of his career with the Dodgers (1992?1998) and New York Mets (1998?2005). Mike Piazza played on three other teams in his MLB career: the Florida Marlins, the San Diego Padres, and the Oakland Athletics. He was the National League Rookie of the Year in 1993, and MVP in the 1996 All-Star Game.

Mike Piazza is married to Playboy Playmate Alicia Rickter. The couple married on January 29, 2005, at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Miami.
