In April 2010, just weeks after Jean-Sebastien Giguere was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, the longtime Anaheim Ducks goaltender showed he was intent on still living in sunny southern California with the purchase of this 4,000+ square foot home in Newport Beach, California. Built in 2002, Giguere paid $2,550,000 for the two-story, Contemporary style home which has five bedrooms, four full bedrooms and a half, and includes a marble fireplace in the living room, wood beamed ceilings, exterior patio with a fireplace, and a separate gated with a spa.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere has spent the majority of his career playing for the Anaheim Ducks. In June 2007 Giguere re-signed with the Ducks for a four year contract worth $24 million.
