NBA star point guard Jason Kidd was selected as the second pick overall by the Dallas Maverick in the 1994 NBA Draft. Jason Kidd left the Mavericks in 1996 to play for the Phoenix Suns, and would later play for the New Jersey Nets. In 2008, Kidd rejoined the Mavericks.
