On December 29, 2009, retired Major League Baseball slugger Jason Bay agreed to a four-year, $66 million deal with the New York Mets. Bay decided to settle down in the New York area and in mid-February 2010, the three-time All-Star paid $2,495,000 for a 3,000+ square foot home in Larchmont, New York. The traditional style home had recently been custom crafted and expanded which included the addition of a wrap-around mahogany porch.
The home has four bedrooms, three and one half-baths, fireplace in the family room and master bedroom, master bathroom has a free-standing soaking tub and a domed ceiling.
Jason Bay now resides in Medina, Washington with his wife Kristen in this 5-bed, 4-bath, 7,450 square-foot mansion.
Larchmont is a village located within the town of Mamaroneck. Larchmont Harbor connects the village directly to Long Island Sound.
Jason Bay was born in Trail, British Columbia, Canada and became a U.S. citizen after a ceremony at Faneuil Hall in Boston on Thursday, July 2, 2009. In his eleven MLB seasons, he was selected to the All-Star game three times (2005 and 2006 for the Pittsburgh Pirates, and in 2009 for the Boston Red Sox.
