This is the former home of cartoonist Garry Trudeau and his wife, television journalist Jane Pauley. In early 1981, the couple purchased a home on Governor Island near the small town of Branford, Connecticut. The island home consists of the main home which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a separate one bedroom, one bathroom bungalow.

The couple now reside exclusively in New York City after selling the home for $1,156,000 in October of 2017. Below are pictures of the home when it was on the market in 2017.

This exquisite Colonial home on Governor Island in Branford, Connecticut was once the home Jane Pauley and Garry Trudeau who owned it for 38 years. Built in 1900, the home is bathed in natural light, offering stunning views of both sunrise and sunset.
